I've just finished another computing session in which we use the Adobe suite to create designs without all of the sketchbook to back it. Today was particularly fun, diving into Indesign creating a book cover combining all of the three killer Adobe apps. It took me right back to when I was first learning Photoshop absorbing every little tutorial and article from various Photoshop sites. I felt I could experiment and just dive into it without the preliminary work and just go for it.
I feel little breaks away from the serious sketchbook intense projects allow you to relax, explore and experiment without worrying about grades and deadlines. Plus, I'm finding my illustrative style is really developing :)
