On Friday I received my result for the first project, which was all about myself. I got a B, which is equivalent to a 2:1 at degree level. I am really happy that I got this grade as I did find this project a struggle as it felt more like a fine art project, which isn't my strong point. I now know where to focus on to work my way up to an A and what is expected of me when working. I've realised that I should share my progress more, especially with the three other flat mates who are doing the same course. I did attend every seminar, which was definitely useful, but I should be getting daily feedback from friends as it's always better to have more than one viewpoint.
Getting this grade certainly is a big motivator. For a first project I'm really happy and now my aim is just to work harder and aim higher. I'm going to experiment a lot more and maybe handle my time management a lot better. Maybe an investment into some post-its and a diary would be good to plan out my projects.
