Re-Doing the Bluecoat Video

Wayyy past the deadline for the submission for the gallery but all for a good reason. Initially I had a video ready for the gallery using the QR code and having a bit of fun with it. However, the final video was boring, to be honest, and I really didn't like it. I decided it wasn't worth handing in just for the sake of it. Well, today I had an idea that I'd like to try out and would be handed in just for the PDP. Using a variety of origami outcomes, I would tell the story of the school (origami tie and shirt?) then crush the paper, or scrunch it up (the bombing in 1941) then re fold into a origami building (how it is now). It would be nice if the paper could have a design on that would work with the tie and building, however, if not I could use more than one sheet of paper.

My decision now is whether I want to just film it normally or whether stop frame. I could also just film it and remove a few frames just to see what happens with that.

As for the SPAM project, I've began researching into the company and one particular point in SPAM's history is the war. I was wondering, albeit controversial, whether I could link SPAM to the current war in Iraq/Afghanistan as maybe an essential item, or SPAM is a hero. It would definitely be risky, but university is my opportunity to explore and take risks. I've got a lot of research to do by the weekend and start thinking up some initial ideas and decide what I would like to do (branding, packaging, website etc). I'm already siding to packaging as I've never really explored it much and would like to try out a website too, maybe online advertising?
